Thread: is make 3.81 "official?"




is make 3.81 "official?"

  i ask since i *thought* it was officially released and yet
my
regular updates of my fedora core system still haven't
updated to that
version.  is that version of make in some sort of shakedown
phase, or
not quite official or ... how does this work?

  (i realize this is more a FC updates question but i
thought i'd
clarify the status of make first.  thanks.)

It's available on ftp.gnu.org, which means as far as we are
concerned
it's a done deal; as official as it gets.

updates in
