Sergey and others,

  I applied the patch to cvs mailutils/mailbox/mailer.c

  It was the first time I ever did this so hopefully it was
done alright.

Procedure was:s

$ cvs -d:ext:djhdownload.sv.gnu.org/cvsroot/mailutils ci
mailutils/mailbox/mailer.c

which then brought me up into emacs for some kind of
comments I suppose so I wrote a couple of lines about what
was done.

Sincerely,
  darel henman

Thank you.

Yes, you did everything right. Only one note: you have
forgotten to
describe your changes in ChangeLog. Please always do that
before
committing changes to the repository. Something like that
would suffice:

2007-08-24  Darel Henman  <dhenmangmail.com>

	* mailbox/mailer.c: Include <sys/time.h> to fix
builds on CygWin.

You will probably find Emacs ChangeLog mode (C-x 4 a)
helpful.

If mailutils directory contains a checked-out version, it is
easier
to commit from that directory instead. This way you don't
have to
specify -d option.

Regards,
Sergey
