Details:

if both ffcall and libffi are installed, configuration and
build succeed, but
applications like Terminal, ProjectCenter and Ink crash
frequently sending a
"Segmentation Fault" message and even base tests
like "nsinvocation" and
"thread" fail.

On the other hand, tests like nsnotification, nsarray and
nsbundle work
without problems

x86.

Follow-up Comment #2:

Are you saying things work fine when you have only ffcall or
only libffi
installed? Or have you not tried that? How did you install
GNUstep - via a
package or yourself?

Follow-up Comment #3, bug #23110 (project gnustep):

Built from SVN.

Using libffi gives the same problems.
Using ffcall works "better" (It passes all test
but thread)

Follow-up Comment #4, bug #23110 (project gnustep):

I just compiled GNUstep on Ubuntu 8.04 and I don't really
get any problems -
using ffcall compiled from source. Did you do that or use
the packaged
ffcall? I haven't tried libffi. ProjectCenter does crash,
but that's a
different problem.
