KDE and GTK apps

Greetings

No, this is not yet another question from someone wanting to
have his
GTK apps look more KDE-ish ;)

In fact, it's the opposite. I've noticed KDE tries to apply
it's color
scheme to GTK apps, like this :

kraiem.no-ip.org/stuff/pidginkde.png

I'd like to know if there is a way to tell KDE to leave my
GTK apps
alone and have them look exactly like the GTK theme I want
is supposed
to look.

In the control center - appearence & themes - colors
there is a box
saying: "apply colors to non-KDE applications". I
guess this is what you're
looking for, but I don't know if it will produce the result
you want.
