Kmail - Templates

Does this list cover Kontact/Kmail?
If not 
Sorry where do I try?

If so then:

nI KDE with Kubuntu Fesity I have had a small problem with
Templates. I am 
endeavouring to change the default forward template to put a
signature before 
the quoted message.

I have edited by inserting the default template by adding 
%INSERT="/...path to my signature text file"

I have turned off the automatically append signature option
in compose.

This works for a Custom template I created for reply email
It worked once and now it does not. Kontact also crashed.
