knetwork & wireless network

Hi,
I'm using knetwork to manage my network connections, but now
it is no more 
showing up the wireless connections in the popup menu.
Anybody knows hot to 
make the wireless networks showing up again?

Already tried and it did not work!
I've tried also removing and installing again the program,
but nothing. I've 
had a look at the /etc/network/interfaces file (I'm using an
ubuntu) and it 
seems ok (dhcp on such interface). I've found on-line that
it seems to be a 
known problem, even without a solution yet:
