LAM: Problem installing LAM with Myrinet support

Hi,

I have successfully configured and compiled LAM with Myrinet
(GM) support, 
but 'make install' command ends with following errors (part
of 
'make-install.out' file):

Why there is a line, where '.libs/libgm.a' library is
removed, while few 
lines later this library is to be extracted ('ar x ...'
command)????? 
'libgm.a' is stored at location '/opt/gm/gm/lib', not in
'.../gm/src/.libs' 
directory!

I have configured the installation with following command:
'./configure
--prefix=/home/langr/Projekty/MPIComp/ia64/lam/icc
--with-rsh="/usr/bin/ssh 
 -x" --with-rpi=tcp --with-rpi-gm=/opt/gm/gm
--with-rpi-gm-lib=/opt/gm/gm/lib'
so path to Myrinet library is properly set (removing
'--with-rpi-gm-lib' 
option gives same error).

Why does it add -lgm when creating libgm?  That looks a bit
odd to me
(not sure whether it would be safe to make libtool warn
about this).

Please try first, whether the above command (in the
respective
directory) works if you execute it manually and omit
'-lgm'.
If yes, please look where the -lgm came from in the
respective Makefile.
Try removing that manually, and report back.
