Hi all -
I posted a beta release of LAM/MPI 7.1.4 (b3) this
afternoon. The
release fixes a couple of issues discovered over the last
couple of
weeks, since 7.1.4b2 was built:
- Properly escape SSI parameters and pass SSI parameters
to
lamboot when using mpiexec. Also use /tmp or $TMPDIR
for
the app schema. Thanks to Sam Steingold for bringing
this
to our attention.
- Allow user to disable building the TM or SLURM boot
ssi
module, even if the libraries are available on the
system.

attention.
- Fix compile issue on NetBSD 3.0 and later. Thanks to
Aleksey
Cheusov for the patch.

Unfortunately, since the LAM/MPI team is almost entirely
dedicated to
Open MPI development, we lack the resources to do the
extensive level
of testing we'd really prefer for a release. Therefore, we
would
appreciate any feedback (positive or negative) on the beta
release.
