Brian, here it goes
Two things for anyone interested in this:
1 Have a look at the hard coded name of the build prereq for
the Intel compiler. I am using iforte91051 and if you are
using a different version you'd have to swap the string out
for whatever your Intel compiler calls itself. Intel's way
of packaging rpm is really brain-dead btw..
2 The package does "opt out" of the dreadful MPI
C++ bindings. If you use these find the build section and
remove the string --without-mpi2cpp

Hopefully, we'll never have to do another LAM release --
it's bug
free, right? ;). So adding it to the distribution probably
doesn't
make sense. However, I'm sure there are a number of people
that
would appreciate if you shared the code, so please feel free
to send
it to this mailing list, where it can be saved in the
archives.
