Dear LAM MPI Developers,

Is LAM MPI also free for commercial use or is there any Commercial License and how much would it cost.

Thanks for your answer

Bogdan is right -- this is the license for LAM/MPI.

I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice, but my
understanding
is that LAM/MPI is completely free software, even for
commercial use.
There are terms about redistributing LAM/MPI (see the
license; you
essentially have to cite the copyrights), but that's about
it.

That being said, have you looked at Open MPI? LAM/MPI is
good, it is
*wholly* in maintenance mode -- there is zero active
development
occurring on it. All effort is being put into Open MPI
(which has the
same license). I encourage you to look at http://www.open-mpi.org/.
