LAM: lamboot error (7.1.1)

That sounds reasonable. 

Do you know who the maintainer is?  It is probably worth
nudging them to
upgrade; 7.1.2 has been out for a few months.  It fixes a
lot of
problems from 7.1.1 (this problem was perhaps the most
noticeable).
