cache only nameserver

Hi,

   I have cache-only nameserver running on RHEL 4. Is there
some command whcih allows knock-off the old entries from the
cache.

That's dependent on your version of BIND.  With v8 or
previous, you'll
have to restart the BIND server.  With v9, you can run
"rndc" and
issue "flush".
