Hi Jeremy,

The following method worked to flush the cached entries.

     #/usr/sbin/rndc flush
     #/usr/sbin/rndc reload
     #/sbin/service named restart

Thanks for the tips.

Regards,
Rajesh

Jeremy,

I have bind v9.2 running on RHEL 4.

    #/usr/sbin/rndc flush

It still shows the old entry do i need to restart any
other service.

Regards,
Rajeshkanna

That's dependent on your version of BIND. With v8 or
previous, you'll
have to restart the BIND server. With v9, you can run
"rndc" and
issue "flush".

Ahh, excellent. Thanks for passing that along, I've already
made a
note of it. =)
