Why not create a list just for the bounties?

Hi Joe,

Sure, that's an option.  We could create something
complementary to the jobs 
forum (http://bioinformatics
.org/jobs/) or simply ask people to post bounties 
there instead.

Other thoughts?

You could also just set list Reply-To to the sender only. 
Most lists
I'm on are configured that way, and it really cuts down on
the
gratuitous "me too!" traffic.
