There was (couple days ago?) was new ati driver released and
was
wondering if this had been packaged (and I don't see it) or
not?

8.37.6 is the new release it seems.

Thanks,

I rebuilt them with 8.37.6 if you want to grab them.
[justincomatose ~]$ cat /etc/yum.repos.d/jlc.repo
[jlc]
name=jlc for Fedora $releasever - $basearch - jlc
#baseurl=file:///home/justin/rpmbuild/RPMS
baseurl=http://www.justinconover.com/pub/fedora/7/RPMS
failovermethod=priority
enabled=1
gpgcheck=0
protect=0

Does it actually work with Fedora 7? I heard of a bug coming
from the
proprietary blob (so unpatchable) that just crashes X when
loading the
module. That's also the reason for I was waiting for the
next release...

You can use the old xorg and exclude it from yum.conf

wget
http://ftp.cica.es/fedora/linux/core/test/6.91/Prime/i386/os/Fedora/xorg-x11-server-Xorg-1.2.0-6.fc7.i386.rpm
rpm -U --oldpackage xorg-x11-server-Xorg-1.2.0-6.fc7.i386.rpm
