What kernel are you using? What version of alsa-lib?

The latest version is 1.0.15rc2

You can check alsa site and see if the latest alsa-driver
fixed something for your card:

As I told you before, maybe you just need

options snd-hda-intel model=xxx

in /etc/modprobe.conf

and where do you get latest drivers (rpm, I mean...)??? They
are out in 
F8development, but nobody is pushing in F7 :-(

I suggest again to move all this thread to fedora-listredhat.com
It is not a problem of freshrpms, where there are no updated
drivers for 
alsa
