how to highlight a tab

Hi!

Could anybody give me a little advise how to implement pages
with
highlighted tabs? I mean, how to highlight specific tab for
a page? I
think that I have to set "class" attribute to
something like
"highlited_item" for div with specific item, but
what is the common
practice for it in Genshi?
