Here's the general philosophy with catalyst. For the
"generic-livecd"
target, we tend to *not* do most of the automatic stuff that
we do for
the releases. The reason is simple. We don't think that
we should
force anyone to have their CD act a certain way. We expect
users to
perform *any* necessary customizations to make their CD work
the way
that they want it to work. If you want auto-login on the
CD, then you
need to setup the configuration file for your display
manager yourself
and ship it in via an overlay (or have the file edited by
your fsscript)
to get the desired results.
