Ok...

After a too long while I finally got around to fix this ld
stuff I
posted about a while ago.  In binutils-config-1.9-r3 now is
included an
ldwrapper script that adds the proper -L and -rpath= flags
for prefix
paths where appropriate.  As you may notice, this is not a
version
bumped version, as I'm still stuck to the main tree.  (I'm
thinking of a
way to be able to bump on main tree versions, though.)

The profiles are currently still left in tact, so nothing is
changed,
till I can be sure you all use the new binutils-config
package.  In
particular haubi: please take a look at it, and emerge it to
see if it
works for you.

Now this is committed, I can continue on the bootstrap
process such that
it will work again...
