Is there a bug in this file? I have bash emerged already and
is at
$EPREFIX/bin/bash

But this shell script is looking in GENTOO_PORTAGE_EPREFIX/usr/bin/bash

?

You need to replace GENTOO_PORTAGE_EPREFIX by your
actual prefix
value. and place the file somewhere you think that's handy.
