glibc-2.5-r2 is stable

Are there any things to consider while upgrading to
glibc-2.5 on hardened?
Are there any known issues on hardened regarding glibc-2.5 -
is it safe to
use?
What about nptl support on hardened from the point of the
new glibc version?

Offtopic: are there any progress on the gcc-4-hardened
effort?
