Hi folks,

is it possible to build seamonkey without the whole updating
(and check-for-update) stuff ?

I have absolutely no idea about what this question means...

  

Go to edit, preferences.  Then expand advanced then select software installation.  In the right side, uncheck check for updates.  I think that will do what you want.

Seamonkey has some update features by itself (ie. checking
for
available update, downloading new binary package, etc).
I want to build seamonkey entirely without that to save
resources and reduce possible points of errors.
