I'm about to get an old G3 Macintosh to use as a file and
small web

Hello,
as a follow up to Gentoo 2006.1 Server profile usage on PPC.
I just got
membership on the mailing list and would like to say that
not only do I
try to setup as a hobbyist a old DELL GX1 but also an even
older
Performa PPC 6400 which will server me as a print server for
a aging
LaserWriterIIG that still do the job even at 300dpi.

Just got some trouble to find a working bootstrapping Linux
to began
with : I'm currently trying Debian Woody from floppy as I
can't get any
CD to boot and even worse I got a none Apple Branded HD so
no Mac OS to
install to bypass the booting CD-Rom limitation.

cheers!
