    Dear friends,

Sorry! This is not related to gentoo or servers.

I have a hp presario v2000 laptop. I replaced its default harddisk with a new harddisk, now its asking DriveLock password. but i didn't set any password for bios or anything. so can anybody tel me how to disable it. i tried to disable it by fixing the original hdd & it said it cleared but again it ask for the new hdd. Please help me solve this.

Then you shouldn't be asking for help with this here. There
are many far better 
places to post this question, none of them which are Gentoo
mailing lists.

    Dear Andrew,

If i can help from anything, i always ready to help others not only for one thing. Thats why i ask 'Dear friends9;. I'm using gentoo( office servers also) + my local friends.
