Hi,

I'm trying to get open-iscsi running. Emerging goes OK, but
when
starting the service with /etc/init.d/iscsid start, the
initiator
service cannot start.

Examing /var/log/messages, the following error is logged:
Apr 12 13:56:19 kayleigh iscsid: can not bind IPC socket

Additional info: running kernel 2.6.16-gentoo-r1 and using
sys-block/open-iscsi 1.0.514.

Next to open-iscsi I also tried linux-iscsi (not in portage,
used the
tarball). Our storage provider suggested this. They got it
running on
Debian using debian packages. This tarball doesn't compile
using Gentoo.
Another storage provider uses open-iscsi with Suse, but this
was also
done via a binary package.

Does somebody has experience with open-iscsi on Gentoo (not
much to find
about using Google) and wants to share?

Thanks in advance

Kind regards,
Tristan Linnenbank

Using archetypes widgets in hand-coded forms - possible?
user name

Hi,

Is there any way to use the Archetypes widgets in forms
created outside the
archetypes environment? For example, I want to do a custom
search form that
includes an effective date range, and I'd like to be able
to have the
feature-rich date widget available as opposed to having to
create the options
(and the nice JS calendar popup) by hand. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Stan
