Hi,

I would like to be able to have my GIMP extension execute system
commands (e.g. have script-fu save the current image to a temporary file
and have an external script send it to a database), but I found that
Script-fu does not implement SIOD function "system" (and neither does
Tiny-fu). I am using GIMP 2.2.13 (via Windows Installer package), and
from what various people say on discussion boards, setting up Python
GIMP or Perl GIMP (or anything that involves compiling stuffs on windows
platform for that matter) look daunting.

Is there other options? Am I stuck?

If I am stuck, will be there be any chance to have "system" function
implemented in Script-fu in future release? I think this feature will be
very useful for window users (or use of other platforms where compiling
Perl/Python GIMP or GIMP plug-ins is not so straight-forward).

Thanks,
Dak

Hi,

could you please stop sending the same question again and again?
So far I see 8 identical messages from you ...

None that I know of.

I am on several Yahoo groups and Yahoo! is randomly repeating some
postings across them.

well, dude, you're using some daunting vocabulary there, if you're
talking command line and stuff, porting source code with Cygwin
(http://www.cygwin.com/) should be a simple three lines. (from what i
hear)

I doubt it's his fault. Seems like yahoogroups has some hopefullyu
temporary problem. I wouldn't be surprised if your message, too,
starts duplicating...

I got several copies of his mail for approval, and only approved one
(or maybe two) of them. Still lots of them were sent out by
yahoogroups. (Messages from new list members are moderated. I am one
of the moderators (I am also the list owner). Or maybe the only
moderator, I'm not sure.)

It is.. I received many emails today from the same ppl.. as much as 8 times... I received this message
in one of my groups today

Duplicate Messages and Email Delivery

We're aware of the duplicate message bug that has been affecting groups today and are working to resolve the issue (a side effect of this bug is that some messages are also being delayed). We have actually pushed two fixes already, but we are aware that some groups are still experiencing the problem and that more needs to be done to fully resolve the issue.

There is, however, one silver lining to this bug. It was the result of our latest system updates intended to improve email delivery speeds. So once the bugs are resolved, we should see a significant reduction in the time it takes to deliver messages to Yahoo! Groups members.

We will update this blog entry as soon as we have more definitive information on the status of this issue.

Thank you and our apologies for any inconvenience caused by the duplicate messages.

The Yahoo! Groups Team

I hope this resolves soon.
Hugs,
Lori
