Gee, I wish I could, but unfortunately, I am a newby, and am having my won problems with the GIMP Program that I have installed in my Computer, which is running on Windows XP. It seems everytime I try to install a font, to try touse it for any reason, that I maight want to use such a font for, that my GIMP Program sends me the following: GIMP Message: "Infalid UTF-8 data in file C: Documents and SettingsJoseph FariasDesktopPALEB___.TTF.' " , or whatever the name of the particular font is that I have chosen. I can not seem to find the correct command prompt, or Gimp font installing device, or what have you, that will let me move past that, so that I can install, and use my font(s) for whatever I might choose to install, and use them for. Anybody out there able to be of any assistance? I certainly woul d appreciate any help I could receive towards resolving this pesky problem, so that I can begin making use ofmy GIMP Program, a
nd thoroughly enjoying, it as I
would love to be able to. Yisrael Foreman Sr.

requires colorimetric measurmeents in the lab.
The image contains a back-light and 2 samples of different colors.
The digi-cam is fixed so the location of those 3 elements remains
constant.
What the script needs to do is:
- measure the value of an area of about 20 pixels -> RGB values
- make that the WHITE value, i.e. adjust the levels of each color to a
maximum given by the RGB values above
- Measure RGB values in 2 other locations that will be my colorimetric
measurements (sample-average 20 pixels is fine).
Can anyone give me a hand with this?
I have written a draft version but doesn't seem to work.
Thanks
