Thanks, that did it! And gimp looks great.
I am still confused in regards to the renamed dll file.
The one file gimp didn't like is part of Roxio 9 in
program filescommon filesroxio shareddll sharedzlib.dll.off
Here's the fix according to the gimp FAQ if I should have problems
with running roxio:
" I allowed the installer to rename conflicting DLL files, now another
program stopped working. What should I do?"
" Find the DLL file(s) the program is complaining about (it will have
the extension .dll.off), copy it to the program's directory and remove
the .off extension."
I assume that in my case the "complaining program" would be roxio. It
hasn't yet but if it does, exactly what directory should I move the
zlib.dll file to? Roxio is a large program with folders are scattered
all over.
Thanks.
