Today is a strange day. I've broken the 100, 000 spam email
marker in
my spam folder in Gmail. As you know Gmail deletes your spam
as it ages
past 30 days.
This is about 3, 333 spam emails a day.
139 spam emails each hour.
Over 2 spam emails every minute.
Anyone beat/suffer more than this tally?
Gmail catches about 95% of all my spam. I have to report the
rest by
hand.

uh, time to switch accounts, and look in the mirror to ask
yourself
what the heck you're doin' to generate it?

Oh no. I can cope with this. In fact, I love Gmail helping
sort spam
like this. Before I'd sort it myself with popfile running on
my local
machine. Now Gmail sorts the spam (most of it) and then I
pop my
account and download it to my local machine through popfile
again. I
report those spam that Google miss to try and improve the
anti-spam
there.
I have a web site or two and so dictionary attacks often
target the
domains. These domains are coded to forward all the email
through Gmail
in the first instance.
