I already have a trustworthy friend (or two) who know my key
passwords. I know, it's not ethical, but these are people I
trust. I
expect them to unsubscribe from the lists, turn on the
(permanent)
vacation/out -of-office reminder and make one final podcast
on my
behalf. I would give these passwords to my wife, who is
quite
technical, but a) she wouldn't be in a state of mind to do
all this
crap, b) she doesn't understand all the details as well as
some of the
people I work with every day.
I don't see anything wrong with putting a backup set of
passwords in a
fireproof safe right next to the will/trust in the event
someone needs
to close your online accounts for you.
