email address/password

I have a typo in my email address when I sign on, so now
this is
included in the drop-down when I start typing.  This has
happened in
other programs as well as gmail.  How do I get rid of this
incorrect
entry.  I have cleared the history and this does not do it.

What browser?

In Firefox, look under Tools/Options, Privacy section, Saved
Passwords, View Saved Passwords
In IE, look under Tools/Internet Options, Content tab,
Personal
Information section, AutoComplete button.

enough.  It is
the "user name" that I can't get rid of.  I am
using firefox.

I'm not sure what you are referring to. The suggestion I
gave does exactly that.
