Reporting *messages* not conversations
as spam

Not currently, the reasoning probably being that this case is somewhat (relatively speaking) rare and there are fewer characteristics for the spam filter to identify anyways.
I'm signed up to a few google groups, and I've noticed that spammers have started sending replies to messages in the groups, with a particular focus on one particular website. When they get in my GMail Inbox, the spam messages are mixed in with real message. I know I can
delete messages from a conversation individually, but is there any way to report an individual message as spam so I can keep the rest of the conversation intact?
