Good point... I hadn't thought about that.  I'm so used to
being in
moderated groups where spam rarely makes it in, I hadn't
checked that
option.

Craig the other option is to request the group owner to make
the group
have new members moderated, and they can un-sub/ban existing
members
who post spam.
