Contact List transfer

Dear Fellow Googlers!!

Quick question.  I am new to Gmail, just activated the acct.
Is there a
way to transfer contacts from Hotmail??? All my contacts are
under that
acct, but as far as I know I can only import contacts under
hotmail but
not export !!! 

Any help/ideas are appreciated ....
