Sign out problem

Hi,

I am unable to "sign out" of the gmail a/c.
Sending, receiving,
deleting emails is working fine.
Even if I close the gmail window as it is. And open a new
window of
www.gmail.com it is getting redirected to my own account.
And shows
inbox open in it.

Please help to resolve this.

If you just *X* out of gmail, you will not be signed out. 
You have to
specifically use the *sign out* button.

If you just X out of gmail, open another window to
gmail.com, you will
be taken directly to your inbox, as you did not sign out.
