Failure To Connect To Web Server

Have been using Gmail for months and all of a sudden when I
go to my
Gmail the browser reports "Failure To Connect To Web
Server"

I do not get a login screen either.

Any ideas on what has happened?

I got to thinking it may be an Internet Explorer problem
with my
"Failure To Connect To Web Server"

So I accessed Gmail by way of Netscape.  I was presented
with a log in
and was able to access the mail.  After I shut Netscape
down, I was not
able to return to gmail as it delivers a "Timed
Out" error.

 Sounds like you might need to clear your cache and cookies.
