just the same to me............but for thunderbird. can't
send anything
and can't open any links.
downloading no problem [from gmail, as POP]
hard to believe that they can't fiind a solution.

Hello Munwal Lal,
I think i have found the solution to this problem what i did was i opened the attached file and click the option Save As in file menu. And in this way i did not have to download and at the same time the file was saved on my hard disk. after which i could continue with gmail.

Sounds like a server slowdown from here: there are no
obvious reasons
for Outlook not to work anymore, then back, then again not
anymore;
while there are plenty of issues that could have came and be
resolved
from there.
Do you think we should set up a 'barometer" of Gmail
web-access and
Pop? The guys at Google would certainly have better insight
for doing
that --- but I'm offering the idea.
