Changing the "from" email address for group messages

To anyone who has knowledge of how to change a
"from" email address in
Google groups:
     I just started a new Google group.  Here is the basic
information
about it:
* Group name: Challenge to the Accepted
* Group home page:
http://groups-beta.google.com/group/challenge-to-th
e-accepted
* Group email address challenge-to-the-acceptedgooglegroups.com
     Immediately I have a problem.  When I click on the
direction to
send messages to every member of the group, an MSN mail
browser pops up
with my MSN mail address appearing in the "from"
field - which is not
what I want.  I want my messages to go out from my Gmail
address - and
that is not allowed, of course, in my MSN mail browser.
     Does anyone in the Gmail Users group know how to make
the change?
I want the messages to go out from my Gmail browser, not
from my MSN
browser; and so far I cannot find a way to effect that
change.  Does
anybody know how to do that?
     By the way, anyone who wants to join the group is
welcome.  It's
wide open.  The purpose is for people with specialized
knowledge to
exchange information which rebuts or refutes that which is
commonly
accepted, so that you have this information to use in your
letters,
theses, articles, essays, oped pieces, books, or any kind of
writing.
Also, I hope to use this group to exchange stories about
periodicals
that will not even acknowledge letters to the editor calling
attention
to errors which have occurred.  Some periodicals are
notorious for
refusing to correct errors, and I have heard many complaints
about it.
My idea is to accumulate experiences and dump them on
editors en masse
until they are so embarrassed that they have to change their
policy of
refusing to correct and refusing to publish letters which
are for the
purpose of correcting errors.
