I just logged into Groups.google.com for the 1st time in
more than a
week and saw the post from 'The Doctor'. I enabled chat
again by
clicking on 'standard with chat', and the popups are gone.
That is a
good thing. If nothing else, my comments (probably as part
of a
torrent) may have helped Google with the feature. In
addition, I
learned about the https access. Most of my messages would
be of little
interest to anyone, but once in a while...
Anyway, things are good again, and if I can convince more of
my friends
and family to set up Google Talk, I'll have a network.
