Signing out of googlemail - Seems to be a common problem but

I hope someone can help!

I can't sign out of googlemail and I need to access another
account as
I have more that one account.

I have cleared out all cookies and cache etc.

Sometimes when I click Sign out, nothing happens, or a 'Page
not found'
error comes up. I've found that despite this, gmail does
sign you out.
If you close the browser and open it again and go to the
sign in page,
you should be able to sign in to the other account
