Why can't we BLOCK email addresses??!!

I dunno why Gmail does not  have the option that you can
block the
email addresses that you do not like!!??
They should work on this part of the security system that we
can block
the email addresses that we don't want to recieve emails
from.

To expand on that... Create a filter that matches
"From:bad-address"
and set the action to Delete...  You don't see it as an
option to
block spam because spammers usually spoof their source
address, so
trying to stop spam with a source address filter is futile.
