Search Partial Match

Search is really useless unless it allows partial match. 
Are there any
plans to add this?  I love almost everything else about
Google Mail --
I've got several domains that are now using GAYFD and it's
very
effective email solution.  But google is known for
searching, no?  I
remember that a note about a given topic is there, but I
can't find it
because I don't remember the word usage -- is it XXXs,
XXXed, XXXing,
etc.  Please allow ? and * to allow partial match searching
of my mail
store!

This has been discussed many times in this user group, and
is a common
complaint.  Make sure you suggest it to Gmail officially.
