Hello,
I'm trying to secure the email account 'joesantagmail.com' but the
system tells me it's unavailable.
I'm not sure that's true...
On further attempts, I received this message:

There are no accounts in our system with the E-mail address
joesantagmail.com which you entered.

What's the deal? Possible to get this account name or not?
If so, can
you help?

We're a user-group, so we can't give you a definitive
answer, but here
are a few clues as to what the situation might be:

GMail reserves some usernames from ever being registered
(like admin,
yaweh, etc) and I don't know why, but that might be one of
them.

Someone may have already registered that name, but they're
no longer
active.  GMail holds your name for something like 9 months
after you
stop using it so no one else can register it.

I used to have an email address that I used often.&nbsp; It was  bvanarsdalegmail.com">bvanarsdalegmail.com.  One day I just couldn';t log on.  Then I went through the process of trying to get my password reset and it would tell me the same error message you got.  I have tried numerous times since that time with no success.&nbsp; Then yesterday I try it just for kicks and it asks me for my fathers middle name and I put it in and it's incorrect.  That was the secret question I used when I signed up to retrieve my password.&nbsp; So now I don't know what's going on.  I really would like to have that email address back.

I would try several different capitalizations of his name. I don't know for sure if it's case sensitive, but that may be the most likely culprit. If not, you probably mistyped when you created the account, so you are probably out of luck.
