Hi,

I'm mostly at auction sites buying and selling stuff. But at
some cases
the e-mails from other people don't come thru, and not even
ending up
in the spam box.
Is there any way to solve the problem? Is there a way to
turn off the
spam filter?

    If they aren't showing up in the spam (or the inbox), then it's not the spam filter';s fault. I would check to make sure you don't have any filters (in Settings) which might be automatically deleting emails, but I would suspect that there is some problem outside of Gmail (wrong email address, block on their end, etc).
