Actually, if you look closely, you'll see the Import option under "All Contacts" only works with CSV (comma separated) files. There is currently no way to import any of the contents of a PST file directly into Gmail. There are 3rd party tools which can covert PST files into CSV files. However, that wouldn't really help with email as there isn't an import option (as you noted). I think there is an option. You should rent a shared Exchange web hosting (it costs from $6 a month) from one of these companies http://www.microsoft.com/serviceproviders/solutions/catalog.aspx . Not all of them work with end customers. At least 3 works, I've chosen Mailstreet, EPIdirect and DSL Extreme (some of them even offer a month of trial usage). Than you should set up an Exchange account in Outlook and copy your mails from PST to this account. They will transfer to the web server. And than you should post a POP3 credentials of this Exchange account in Gmail fetch. In theory it should fetch all incoming mails and even keep their date! I am just in the middle of this process - I've ordered services but didn't start to set up an Exchange account in Outlook. Thus I don't know will it work or not. In theory it must work. Another question - what to do with Sent mails in Outlook? If there are any experienced user out there, please report your impressions.
