yes that is exactly my problem. i get around 200 messages
per day of
spam. about 90% are caught as spam. i have to manually
report the
remaining 10%. its gets annoying after a while.

The filter should improve with each report, though I've
noticed it
might take a day or two to catch up.  I only get about 1
through every
other day, out of 100+ a day, so it's less than 1% miss for
me.  On
occasion it picks up a little, but that's usually just the
spammers
getting a little cleverer, and the filter taking a bit to
catch up.

On the other side, I used to receive over 2000 a day when I
still
forwarded all unknowns in my domains to me, and participated
in Blue
Frog, so my filter had a LOT of information to learn from. 
It still
marked over 95% of it then though, so the main problem for
me was
finding the accidentally marked ones.
