That's a commonly discussed/requested search option (not
labeled). I
list it with my suggestions most times I submit them, you
should.
There's a greasemonkey script to build a not-labeled search,
which is
basically "-label:a -label:b -label:c" etc. This
is the only way to
do it currently.
There's not a way to search contacts like you're asking that
I'm aware
of, but if you click "All Contacts" the groups'
they are members of is
the first thing listed and in green so it shouldn't be too
hard to
scan down and see which have no green group membership.
