I have had a problem under Ubuntu server edition using lynx.
I am
curious to know that the problem is due to gmail bad charset
or lynx.

I use gmail with iso charsets always in text/plain. I think
Ubuntu use
utf-8. My letters are Hungarians under iso-2 coding such as
ő or ű.
These letters and some others which are under iso-1 coding
like íáé,
etc. There happened unreadable letters instead of them.

(I have no problem under IE/FF;Win or Linux)

So I hope there is a charset guru to say me the truth. Shoud
I set the
utf-8 in Gmail or it is non Gmail error.

Well... I was going see what if I would encounter similar problems, but Google is returning "malformed request" to me under Lynx 2.8.5rel.1. How odd.

As I can't test it, I don't know anything for sure, but I would guess that the problem is just caused by lynx being too limited to handle even the simplified Gmail interface.

P.S. Hm, just tried links2 and it won't even load Gmail all the way. Maybe something funky is up with Feisty right now. :/
