Well, if you have made a post like that, why not let the
othe users
know how you went about it ... without being asked ;)
Cheers

Tim,

I am essentially a new user to Gmail and as I get up to speed, I am also using AOL (the version that is free), because for whatever reasons, many people are no longer able to access Yahoo mail.

I have not reached the point of attempting to, as you say post, is that it same as attaching? a photo to the body?

In the other mail systems, I am able to COPY into the body of my email but I have been attaching the photos.

Yahoo would change the format and show me at the bottom of my email my photos, after I have sent the email.

So how does one post or attach a photo to the body?

Sorry guys, apparently my entire reply did not post:
Hey sorry about that! My post posted before I finished it!
To post a photo inside gmail:
Go to Google Pages www.pages.google.com
You can now compose a page with a header etc and/or just a
photo. If
you click the image icon at the left of the page you can
import your
Once you size the image and have it the way you want it to
look,
"Publish" the page to the web.
Now select "View web" or "View live" to
open the webpage
With the webpage open (should have your image in it) , right
click on
the image and select "select all"
Right click again and select "copy" (or control
C)
Now open up Gmail and select compose mail
Click (left) somewhere in the body of the email then right
click
"paste" (or control V)
You should now have the image in the body
Good luck and let me know how it works.

addendum: After "view web" right click on the page
outside of the
image (not on the image)

ooh..can you build a small webpage, with infor etc, text and
image and
do the same with that??? I am going to try it,..nothing like
colorful
emails..though I miss the day of using my old webtv unit
where you
could place web page code in the siggy box and have text,
images and
music, the emails would open and be filled with sites,
colors and
sounds.
