Hello,
I want to sort my email by date!
I want to sort my email by sender!
And I do want to sort my emails by subject!
All the above are simple sorting actions that you can and
may perform
in any email account, except one! Yes Gmail
Yes, I would like to see this simple sorting option or
feature made,
why if someone may ask?
Will in MSN and Yahoo we can sort emails by DATE, SENDER, or
SUBJECT.
But in Gmail we simply CAN'T
It is one of the basic features of any email account; I
wonder why the
Gmail team didn't look into it yet! Mind you that in Gmail
there are A
LOT of options and feature that are still missing since the
start!
In my opinion Gmail will be the greatest email account if
the benefit
of 2 GB or 3 GB that the Google provide are associated and
enhance
with these necessary features.

Well, it does already on the conversation level. Sorting individual messages would break down the conversation idea.
I want to sort my email by sender!
For what purpose? Just search for the sender that you're looking for.
And I do want to sort my emails by subject!
I'll give you that one to some degree, but still, you can search for messages with a certain subject easily enough. If you aren't sure what the subject is, then just do a full text search.
In my opinion Gmail will be the greatest email account if the benefit
of 2 GB or 3 GB that the Google provide are associated and enhance
with these necessary features.
They might be necessary to you, but personally I don't need them. If a different email provider gives you more of the features you need, use them.

First, you are complaining to the wrong person. We are users as you are. Google does NOT, repeat does NOT read these posts. Second, you probably will NEVER see these features in GMail as their slogan is "Search, dont sort."; Good luck getting them to implement it. The only way you will get to sort your email using GMail is by downloading your email to a POP client. See the help section to learn more.....sorry to be the bad news breaker!

Um... there are several dozen languages available to GMail,
several of
which are RTL. They work RTL (hebrew comes to mind right
away).
What RTL support are you proposing is lacking?
PS for those wondering, RTL=Right to Left, I had to look it
up again myself.

I want the RTL support in the English interface.
That's so easy to implement. Yet ,even after asking them
(Few people)
dozens of times they haven't changed it. Basically all the
need to do
is to enable the buttons from the Hebrew and the Arabic
interfaces in
the English interface.
There's even Firefox extension which does it.

Hello Client,
I download my Gmail to Outlook Express so I can do
everything that you
just stated. Outlook Express is free and all you have to do
is either
enable POP or use forwarding. I use POP to get my Gmail
since it
saves a lot of information (time, etc) in the headers that
forwarding
does not. Another plus to using POP is that if you print
the email,
it will have your Gmail address on it and not the one you
forwarded it
to.
There are several tools available from Google to help you
set
everything up, it takes all of about 15 minutes and your
good to go.
